Overview

NSK's unique technologies have led to the development of a variety of steering columns with excellent shock-absorbing characteristics, significantly enhancing safety. Furthermore, through advanced analysis technology, NSK has developed lightweight and highly rigid columns, enhancing steering stability and providing a comfortable steering experience. Our intermediate shafts and rack & pinion gears rotate smoothly and quietly.

Product Line

■Tilt and Telescopic Steering Column

  • The steering column features a manual mechanism for adjusting the steering wheel position in both tilt (up and down) and telescopic (forward and backward) directions. It is designed to be lightweight yet possesses high vibration rigidity while enhancing collision safety.

■Electric Tilt and Telescopic Steering Column

  • The steering column features motors for adjusting the steering wheel position in both tilt (up and down) and telescopic (forward and backward) directions, ensuring quiet operation.

■Tilt and Telescopic Steering Column for Trucks

  • Highly rigid type steering column for trucks.

■Slide Type Intermediate Shaft

  • The intermediate shafts feature a sliding mechanism designed to protect the steering system from distortion caused by the vehicle frame. They are available in three variations: ball slider type (BRS), 24-tooth resin-coated spline type (PQUS24), 18-tooth resin-coated spline type (PQUS18).

■Buffer Joints

  • We offer various types of shock-absorbing joints with excellent noise and vibration attenuation characteristics. On the left, we have the Bush type, known for its high shock-absorbing function. In the upper right, we have the disc-shaped rubber coupling. In the lower right, we offer the compact Bush type.

■Steering Joints

  • Various joints are available for selection based on specific application requirements.

■Rack and Pinion

  • Our rack and pinion system offers both lightweight construction and high rigidity, ideal for column type EPS applications.
